COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
In order to protect everyone inside the center, EVERYONES temperature will be taken at the door. If a parent/guardian does not consent to having their temperature taken, they will be required to leave their child with the teacher at the door. If anyone has a temperature above 99.9 degrees, they may be denied entry (weather is considered as a factor).
All people ages 5 and older are required to wear a face covering upon entering. If a child does not have one, we will provide a mask for them to keep. Please be advised that face covering requirements are dictated by the state of North Carolina and we will comply with the applicable recommendations.
We believe that hand washing is the most effective way to prevent germs from spreading so children will wash hands during the following times:
Upon entering
Immediately before and after eating
After changing soiled clothing, and after diaper changes
Before and after sand or water play
After using play-dough or other substances
After playing outdoors
Whenever hands are visibly dirty
Before going home
Hand sanitizer is also available at multiple stations but is not meant to replace hand washing.
